Me, in front of my dorm in Salem, West Virginia; a little over 4 years after my 1st Grateful Dead show at Watkins Glen. Today also happens to be 40 years to the moment that I hooked up with my Big Mistake, otherwise known as Funk. Guess where we’re heading tonight? Yes! To another Grateful Dead show! I should’ve raised my kids with guilt. But no, I was trying to be the best mom in the world. I did everything opposite of what my parents did.
