I’m not re-entering my “normal” life very gracefully

I’m not re-entering my “normal” life very gracefully. I’ve been sad and lonely for having left Hawai’i. But I’m fighting it, because you have to make a beautiful life for yourself wherever you are. I’m almost caught up on backed-up paperwork, which means, I’ll begin writing book three next week and working on upping my fitness levels. One good piece of news! I fit back into my winter garments. I can’t believe what a difference 11 pounds lost made. Here’s to the next 39!

After I’m done writing for the day

After I’m done writing for the day, my friend let’s me come to her home in Rock Creek Park so I can take my walk in nature. Today, I also had a load of paperwork to catch up on, and I came across a folded up note that a pilot handed me as I exited the airplane from Hawai’i (it’s shown at the end of the video). Some people are beyond nice. I’m so grateful when I run across them, as ever since Covid, those types are getting to be an anomaly.

I’m surprised how much I miss Hawai’i. I’m lucky enough to have made an arrangement for myself there, so I’ve been going for 2-4 months at a time since 2016, and it’s beginning to feel like home. But, you gotta make a beautiful life for yourself wherever you are. So, I’m gonna let myself have my sad moment, and then I’m gonna get on with it. My goal this winter is to begin writing book three—as of now, it’s 400 pages of notes—and to get myself in better shape with weights and stretching. AND, get my shoulder working properly again! […]
