I tagged along with Funk on his business trip to New York City. We’re staying on the ocean in Long Beach as it’s less expensive, but a great place to write. And only 50 minutes into the city by train. Poor guy has to get up early to accomodate me though. We’ve extended our stay so we can host a dinner-party with my childhood friends from Bethpage. Chili, homemade bread, and intimate talk. What could be better? Well, if my children were here, that would be better, but the flat-leavers seem to have their own life they want to lead.
