The twelve-year gestation is ready to pop!
What began as just some thoughts jotted down on a piece of paper—on a boat on our way over to Europe—is about to be released on May 18.
Those family notes turned into the first book in the C’mon Funk Series: May Cause Drowsiness and Blurred Vision, The Side Effects of Bravery.
Since the series takes place almost entirely in Kansas City, Funk and I will be in town beginning May 15 to kick it off.
There are five events scheduled so far, and we hope to see you around town.
Here’s wishing that you, too, don’t allow logistics to get in the way of reaching for your dreams. Even if those logistics sometimes contain throat-clenching fear.
